According to the City of North Port, “This event showcases the beauty of the 3-mile Oakheart Trail with a native plant walk led by Stocking Savvy, an environmental consulting company, from 9-10:15 a.m. A local wildlife walk presented by the City of North Port’s Parks and Recreation Department follows from 10:15-11:30 a.m. Wellen Park Outfitters will host a guided bike ride from 11:30 a.m. to noon.“
